It's nice in some way that you're not alone. Depression is worse than sadness. It's an empty feeling. No one deserves it.

Depression can hit anybody an money don't even make it go away , but money helps , last year I was spending about £250 a day on shit an most of the time I could not even get out of bed even if I though get up an out I can buy or I got enuf cash to party all day , you can make bad choices when your down , now am bloody skint , Fucked it

Thank you to David who spoke out and for BBC for picking up his story. I can't imagine how many others suffer in silence. I read his story a few months ago and it broke my heart how insensitive people were towards him…there's enough pain in the world as it is without people adding to it with their insensitivity.

It takes a lot of strength to do what you have done as I have dealt with a lot of mental health problems but now I have found the strength to fight back as it is a life time struggle. Thank you for sharing .
